Olszewski Sleeping Beauty Castle - The Main Street Collection, First Edition

Believe it or not, the photos seen here are not from a picture taken at Disneyland, but are from a miniature model of Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle by artist Robert Olszewski. This amazingly detailed model depicts the castle in all directions- front, back side, and inside. If you look closely, you can actually imagine yourself inside it- walking across the drawbridge through the entrance of the castle. Another thing that is really exciting about this piece is that it lights up- in a dark room, if you turn on the lights on the piece, it acutally lights up the castle and looks the same way Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle looks at night. This piece is part of the First Edition of the Sleeping Beauty Castles made by Olszewski, and it came with a Certificate of Authenticity. This piece, however, is now also available as an Open Edition- only my Certificate really makes mine so special. Mr. Olszewski told me about 4 years ago that he had sent one of these to Michael Jackson at Neverland Ranch, but he hadn't heard from Michael at that point, so he wasn't sure if Michael had opened it yet. He also assured me of this- "when Michael turns the light on, he'll call me".

Limited Edition Mickey Mouse Watch

This is a limited edition Mickey Mouse watch, which I purchased at Disneyland around 1994. This watch sold out every time they got it into stock, and it was actually very challenging for me to get this one. Notice the Mickey Mouse face etched into the face of this watch. This watch was part of a limited edition of 3000 watches. I got lots of compliments on this watch, and lots of requests to buy it from me. I actually bought 2 of these watches, and this one in the picture is the one that I never wore.

101 Dalmations Motion Picture Soundtrack CD

This is a picture of my Walt Disney Records soundtrack of the motion picture "101 Dalmations". This was an extremely hard-to-find compact disc, that I was fortunate to get at an NFFC Convention at a good price. I was working at The Disney Store during the time that this CD was released, yet our store NEVER got this CD, and I wasn't are of any of the other stores getting it either. I also never found this CD at Disneyland. The NFFC Conventions, which are held in July and January in Garden Grove, California, are great places to find the best Disney treasures.

I was happy to get this CD because it expanded my already large collection of Disney soundtrack CDs. The music from this film was really good, too. I especially like the "Canine Crunchies" commerial music, and the "Cruella De Vil" song.
